Vinacontrol accompanies the authorities in the prevention of smugglers

Recently, Vinacontrol Hai Phong cooperated with the Hai Phong port area 1 Customs Branch to inspect the imported consignment of Forwarding Service Trading Co., Ltd. MHP (Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City). According to the enterprise's declaration, the goods are "unrefined lead (78.5% lead)", transported from Taiwan to Hai Phong port on February 4, 2020. However, the inspection results of Vinacontrol Hai Phong show that the above shipment is "used lead-free battery packs and discarded." It is hazardous waste code 16 01 12 in Appendix 1 List List of hazardous wastes issued together with Circular No. 36/2015 / TT-BTNMT of June 30, 2015, of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. As a result, dozens of tons of hazardous waste were detected and prevented by Hai Phong Customs and Vinacontrol Hai Phong.

On December 27, 2019, Vinacontrol also assisted the Customs Branch of Saigon Port Area 1 to inspect illegally exported shipments of Saigon Asia Trading Co., Ltd. Accordingly, 25 containers of lumber, belonging to group 7, valued at over VND 11 billion, have export tax rates of 25%. However, the enterprise declared in the customs declaration that "Veneer made from rubberwood" has an export tax rate of 10%, exported to China, equivalent to nearly 3 billion VND of tax evasion. Thus, the assessment result of Vinacontrol is the foundation for the Saigon port area 1 Customs Branch to commence criminal proceedings against Saigon Asia Trading Co., Ltd.

On September 9, 2019, at the request of Saigon port area 1 Customs Branch, Vinacontrol conducted a survey of a 5-container batch of "terracotta ceramics" at Cat Lai port, which was opened a customs declaration by Duc Minh Co., Ltd., with the export tax rate of 0%. However, through inspection, Vinacontrol has determined that the shipment is aluminum scrap from beer cans, molded soft drinks, items with an export tax rate of 25%. Therefore, all goods are wrong, compared with customs declaration, and the inspection results of Vinacontrol is evidence to handle this case.
