On October 5, the Department of Agricultural Products Processing and Market Development - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) coordinated with the Department of Science, Technology, Environment Department and Agriculture and Rural Development of Yen Bai organized the Workshop "Supporting the development of Vietnamese certification organizations recognized by importing countries" in Yen Bai city.
As one of the certification organizations participating in the Prime Minister’s project 885/QD-TTG dated 23/06/2020 from the early days, Vinacontrol is honored by The Agro Processing and Market Development Authority - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to attend and representatives of more than 31 organic agricultural certification organizations presented at the conference.
In the presentation, Vinacontrol's representative clearly stated the current situation of organic agricultural product certification assessment activities in Vietnam such as quality of service, competition between certification organizations and certification issues for organic products, and the requirements and skills of the assessor. Drawing from the experience of implementing organic certification activities as well as practical assessment, Vinacontrol has also made suggestions for more effective organic certification and absorbed the suggestions, capacity building solutions for certification organizations.
As a certification organization directly appointed to participate in The Development Scheme of Organic Agriculture in the 2020-2030 period, Vinacontrol is pleased to offer the organic certification service to accompany sustainable agriculture in Vietnam.
