Vinacontrol signed a cooperation agreement with the Russian Export Center

On July 18th, Vinacontrol signed an agreement with the Russian Export Center on exchanging information on standards of Vietnam and Russia; assist in the conformity assessment of goods through inspection, testing, certification and audit.

Participating in the signing of the Memorandum, from Vinacontrol, there are Mr. Phan Van Hung - Vinacontrol Vice President, Mr. Do Phuc Tuyen - Director Vinacontrol Analysis & Testing Center 1, Mr. To Manh Linh - Deputy Director Corporate Makerting Department and Mr. Dang Hoai Nam, Marketing Expert. From Russian Export Center, there are Mr. Andrey Shrayber - Director for International Adaptation of Export Products and Mr. Victor Uspenskiy - Senior Expert Mandatory Certification.

According to the Agreement, Vinacontrol is willing to support REC on Vietnamese standards and regulations related to the quality of goods. REC is ready to connect, facilitate the import and export of goods between Vietnam and Russia through the engagement of Vinacontrol as the conformity assessment organization for goods.

Both parties agree to focus the cooperation predominantly on the following industries and products:

• Foodstuff
• Consumer Goods
• Medical (devices & equipment)
• Electronics (devices & equipment)
• Industrial equipment, machinery, machine tools and components
• Power generation 
• Transport (automotive, rail)
• Telecommunication
• IT security

The Agreement comes into force as 18/07/2018 and shall be valid until 31/12/2024
