Vinacontrol is developing a certificate search system, preventing counterfeit certificates

In recent years, Vinacontrol Group Corporation (Vinacontrol Group), which owns the reputable third party assessment, Vinacontrol brand, has received many requests for supporting the certificate verification from customers and authorities. Through examinations, Vinacontrol discovered a number of cases of counterfeit certificates.

Here are some basic signs to identify the original certificate issued by Vinacontrol.

• Certificate Form

Form of Vinacontrol certificate billet is printed industrially, using 4-color offset printing technology, for better colors, according to the specific color code.

Counterfeit certificates using color ink on laser or inkjet printers often produce darker colors, deviating from standard colors compared to the original certificate. The contour of the surrounding texture in the certificate shrinks, shorter than the original one issued by Vinacontrol.

• Certificate Design

Vinacontrol’s certificate is printed on good quality paper using modern printing technology, with sharp and clear motifs, edges and patterns. Meanwhile, counterfeit certificates are often printed on poor quality paper using simple printing technology, so the textures are faint and smudged.

• Anti-Counterfeit Stamp

On each Vinacontrol certificate, there is an anti-counterfeit stamp in the lower left corner. There are scratches in each stamp with the code to check and confirm with the real certificate.

Counterfeit certificates have no anti-counterfeit stamp with Vinacontrol’s logo on each certificate.

• Signature and seal

The signatures and seals on the counterfeit certificate are cut images and printed by a color printer, lacking in sharpness and has wild distorted colors. The handwriting is blurred, has appeared shadows and rendered borders.

In the near future, Vinacontrol Group will launch a barcode scanning system. Each issued certificate will be printed with a separate barcode. To check, customers only need to scan the barcode or access the certificate lookup system on the website of Vinacontrol.

Using counterfeit certificates carries the risk of reputation, economic, legal for both buyers and sellers, as well as other related parties. Vinacontrol Group recommends that customers should be more cautious about the acts of counterfeiting Vinacontrol certificates in order to take advantage of Vinacontrol's reputation and brand in the market, and seek illicit profits.
