Vinacontrol congratulates the 30th anniversary of the Vietnam Cashew Association (VINACAS)

In 1990, the Vietnam Cashew Association (VINACAS) was established with the first name of the Vietnam Cashew Association. After 30 years of growth and development, VINACAS has made a lot of contributions to promoting the development of the Vietnamese cashew industry, helping Vietnam maintain the leading position in the processing and export of cashew kernels in 13 years continuously. On the 30th anniversary of establishment, VINACAS was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal and the Government Emulation Flag from the State President.

As the leading cashew inspection unit in Vietnam and an active member of the Vietnam Cashew Association (VINACAS), Vinacontrol has been making active contributions to the branding of Vietnamese cashew nuts. Right from the early years that Vietnam started to export cashew to now, Vinacontrol has participated in the inspection of cashew raw materials and export cashew nuts, contributing to bringing Vietnamese cashew nuts to the world market. Currently, Vinacontrol is the largest cashew nut inspection unit in Vietnam with more than 90% of raw cashew production and over 70% of cashew nut output.

To meet the increasingly high-quality standards of international markets, Vinacontrol always focuses on investment and human resource development. Recently, Vinacontrol Ho Chi Minh City sent a delegation of experts to participate in a training course on labor standards for subcontractors/cashew processors, as part of the project “Capacity building towards Sustainable development in the Vietnamese cashew supply chains”, implemented by the Norwegian Ethical Trade Organization, VINACAS, Binh Phuoc Cashew Association, and Binh Phuoc Farmers Association.

With unremitting efforts, Vinacontrol has gradually become the leading cashew inspection organization in the world with the trust of many domestic and foreign partners.
