List of machinery and equipment must be verified the safety in Viet Nam

1. VERIFICATION OF TECHNICAL SAFETY OF MACHINERY, EQUIPMENT 

• Circular No. 36/2019/TT-BLĐTBXH Promulgating the list of machinery, equipment, materials, and substances subject to strict occupational safety and health requirements.

Verification Of Technical Safety Of Machinery, Equipment is a compulsory activity for organizations and individuals, using devices on the list of required safety inspections of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Welfare, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

List of equipment with verification requirements:

• Boilers and pressure equipment: Boilers, Hot water boilers; Heat pot; Pressure vessels, Tanks, Tanks with pressure; Gas cylinders; Compressor;
• Elevator; Escalator;
• Lifting equipment: Forklift, Crane, Gate crane, hoist, tower crane, lifting floor,…
• Cooling system;
• Steam and hot water pipeline system;
• Gas pipeline; Gas modulation extract system; Medical gas system; Gas system.

  2. VERIFICATION OF ELECTRICAL SAFETY 

• Circular No. 33/2015/TT-BCT Regulations on technical safety inspection for electrical equipment and tools

Safety verification of electrical systems, electrical equipment, and electrical tools is a compulsory activity for organizations and individuals, use devices on the list that require verification by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

List of electrical equipment with requirements for verification:

• Transformers;
• Circuit breakers;
• Lightning protection valve;
• Disconnecting switch, earthing switches;
• Electric cables;
• Electrical insulating sticks.

  3. VERIFICATION OF LIGHTNING PROTECTION SYSTEM

• Decree no. 79/2014/ND-CP Guidelines for the Law on fire safety and firefighting and the Law on amendments to the Law on fire safety and firefighting.

Verification of the lightning protection system is mandatory for organizations and individuals using lightning protection systems.

According to the law, the lightning protection system must be verified at least once a year.

  4. VERIFICATION, CALIBRATION OF MEASURING

• Circular no. 23/2013/TT-BKHCN On group 2 measuring instruments;
• Circular no. 07/2019/TT-BKHCN On amendments to Circular no 23/2013/TT-BKHCN dated September 26, 2013, of the Minister Of Science and Technology on group 2 measuring instruments.

Verification and calibration of measuring equipment is a required operation for organizations and individuals which using and trading measuring devices on the list of those subject to verification by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
