Happy Vietnam Independence Day

On September 2nd, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi, marking the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now known as the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. September 2nd is a shining milestone in the thousand-year journey of building and defending the Vietnamese nation. It's a time for everyone in Vietnam to remember the sacrifices of previous generations, recall the arduous and heroic historical journey of nation-building and protection.

As the longest-standing inspection organization in Vietnam, Vinacontrol takes pride in having accompanied the country through the ups and downs of history, from times of war to the establishment of complete independence and the rise of socialism.

Since its establishment in 1957 until today, with determination, passion, and the diligent efforts of countless generations, Vinacontrol has overcome the country's fluctuations to affirm its leading position in ensuring the safety and quality of goods.

Even in the most difficult years, Vinacontrol (then the Directorate for Testing Export and Import Goods, also acting as the Department of Inspection of Export and Import Goods) was established and tasked with inspecting exported and imported goods, phytosanitary inspection, safeguarding and maintaining the reputation of Vietnamese goods in the international market. However, during the war period, due to limited material conditions and primarily handcrafted and low-quality products, Vinacontrol actively researched and established standards, specifications, and quality requirements for exported goods. Simultaneously, the organization assigned staff to closely supervise and guide production, purchase, processing, and export of goods, ensuring the 100% inspection of exported batches.

To facilitate Vietnamese goods' smooth journey to every corner of the world, Vinacontrol actively built relationships with governments, state management agencies, commodity associations, and inspection organizations in importing countries. Seizing available opportunities, Vinacontrol approached, learned, and enhanced professional expertise to support Vietnam's foreign trade sector in obtaining various government contracts and boosting import-export activities. It can be said that Vinacontrol's development is closely tied to the country's development.
