Asset valuation serves as a critical foundation for key decisions regarding investment, credit, transactions, transfers, and corporate governance. An independent valuation result, aligned with its intended purpose, enables clients to mitigate risks, enhance transparency, and establish a reliable basis for executing transactions.

Vinacontrol’s Valuation Services assist organizations, enterprises, and individuals in determining the value of assets, businesses, and property rights in full compliance with applicable laws and prevailing Vietnam Valuation Standards.

Service Background

Under the Price Law 2023, valuation is defined as a advisory activity executed by a certified valuation firm or a valuation council in accordance with Vietnam Valuation Standards to determine the value of a specific asset at a designated time and location for a defined purpose.

Valuation results are formally presented through a Valuation Certificate and a Valuation Report, providing professional grounds for clients to consider and make decisions within the defined scope and purpose.

Valuation activities are conducted independently and objectively, adhering strictly to professional ethics, scope of work, valuation bases, and documentation requirements mandated by Vietnam Valuation Standards. These regulations are prescribed under Circular No. 30/2024/TT-BTC, effective from July 1, 2024.
